Chrome plating is a big problem for restorers. We can offer a full service for your parts: We are able to repair damaged parts before we have them re-chromed: rust, dents, pores, etc. everything is professionally repaired. The whole process is very labour intensive: after grinding and polishing all parts are coated with a thick layer of copper. Then they are flattened and polished again. Two layers of nickel follow, after which each one the parts are polished again. When the last nickel layer is perfect, the parts are plated in the final layer of chrome. This gives the parts their deep gloss finish. Email us photos of parts you would like to have chrome plated and we can send you an estimate.
